Our History:

Milam's Equipment Company is a family owned and operated business with over 40 years of experience with construction equipment.  Originally building highways for the states of Virginia and North Carolina, Milam's has expanded to the renting and selling of used Equipment. 

Beginning in 1999, Edmond (Eddie) T. Milam, Jr began selling used Equipment out of a small office in South Boston, Virginia.  His experience with construction and buying and selling equipment allowed for the business to grow with the space needed for equipment growing with it.

In 2012, Eddie opened Milam Equipment Rental's, LLC in Leland, North Carolina.  In January 2020, he opened a brand-new location at 10 Sloan Road, Leland, NC. Eddie has continued to expand his rental business and in 2024 he opened a new location in Jacksonville, North Carolina. Not only has the rental portion of Milam Equipment grown, but so has the selling of used construction equipment.

Eddie is now the owner of his new company Milam Equipment Company, LLC based in Leland, North Carolina.  He believes in a hands-on approach and runs the daily operations with the help of his son Caleb Milam.  Milam's has over 50 personnel who are trained and qualified to inspect, service and repair all machines that we rent and sell.  We hold ourselves to a top-tier standard to meet and surpass that needs of our customers worldwide.  No matter the size of the job, Milam's is here to help you.
